Meet the Teacher
Mrs. Samantha Tallent
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Tallent. I'm a Satsuma High School graduate. My favorite memory of Satsuma would be during my senior year as I served as the mascot. My mascot name was Allie the Gator. It feels great to teach in the community I grew up in. I'm a University of Mobile graduate with a Master's Degree in Education. I LOVE teaching with all of my heart! Teaching is my passion and my hope is it shows in the Science Lab, the Outdoor Classroom and in the car lane each morning!
My family and I live in Satsuma. My husband is also a Satsuma High alumni. What can I say...... once a gator, always a gator. We have three precious children; Chloe, Kaiser and Lena.
I can't wait to get this party started! Everyday is a great day in the Science lab.

Lee Elementary has enjoyed the addition of a state of the art science lab. Our school was the first in the state to implement this research based, comprehensive, hands-on approach to discovery where we incorporate LabLearner and FOSS curriculum. Students in kindergarten through sixth grade will continue to develop process skills and content knowledge through experimentation in this lab. This year we opened the door to Project Based Learning and continue STEM activities designed to prepare our students for a global workforce.
